The Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources (MFMR) on behalf of the Solomon Islands Government, announces a tender call for the purse seine vessel days available for the year 2019.

2019 tenders are requested for up to 1,200 days available from 1st January – 31st December 2019.

The bid process includes a floor price of US$ 10,500 per day for 2019 tenders. This is the minimum price at which you can bid. Any bids below US$ 10,500 per day will be automatically rejected.

The closing date and time for receipt of e-Tender bids will be on Thursday 6th September 2018, at 12am midnight Solomon Islands Time.

The bidding system will again be via e-tenders accessible from either the MFMR website or the PNA iFIMs portal. The MFMR web reference is:, under the “Apps and Database” drop-down menu, click FIMS E-Tenders. The PNA iFIMs portal web reference is:

Please ensure that you select the correct year option of 2019 for the VDS year when placing bids.

MFMR reserves the right to determine the number of days for the price offered. These may be for an amount lower than those requested.
